Wong Kar Wai Retrospective

Running Date: March 2027

Renowned for his expressive use of colour, music, cinematography and fragmented storytelling, Wong Kar-wai transforms familiar genres such as romance and crime cinema into deeply personal reflections on human relationships. Beneath their visual beauty, his films also tell us something about Hong Kong itself: a city shaped by rapid modernisation, migration and an uncertain relationship with its past and future.

Wong Mega Pass: Screening in conjunction with our Wong Kar-wai Film Studies season, which can be purchased separately but also is available in one combined pass where you can see all 7 films, as well as 4 lectures.
