Getting Here

Showroom Cinema sits a few minutes from Sheffield railway and bus stations. For full details on planning your journey by tram, bus, train or car, please read our Find Us page.

Parking and Blue Badge Information

There are four disabled parking spaces directly outside the building on Paternoster Row, these are often available but are not able to be reserved. Additional accessible parking is available nearby at Q-Park Charles Street.

Entrances

A sloped ramp leads to the main cinema entrance and Café Bar.

Both entrances can be accessed via electronically assisted doors.

Inside the Building

Ticketing and Concession Counters

If a customer has difficulty standing or queuing, we'd be delighted to help and shall give them priority at box office, kiosk, in the café/bar and priority when entering the cinema screen.

Lifts, stairs and corridors

All public areas of the Showroom Cinema are fully accessible to people using wheelchairs and our staff are trained to provide customer assistance. Lift access is provided to cinemas 3 and 4 on the lower level.

Our cinema is quite small so it is only a short distance to get to where you want to be.

Screening Adjustments

Subtitles and Captions

Where possible, we offer caption subtitle screenings every Monday for our general release films.

These screenings are marked on our website and printed listing flyers which you can pick up from the Box Office. We have one large-print listing flyer in the Box Office and can print more on request.

Captioned screenings for the upcoming Monday are confirmed and announced every Wednesday, you can find the current listings here.

Audio Description

We use a Fidelio system to transmit both Audio Description and Hearing-Impaired tracks where available. The Fidelio receivers can be equipped with either a set of headphones or a neck loop which can connect to hearing aids which use the ‘T’ loop pickup. Both options are available in all four of our screens. These are both readily available at our Box Office, and booking is not required.
