Showroom Cinema is proud to be a recognised dementia-friendly organisation, working in association with The Alzheimer’s Society, offering a regular dementia-friendly screening on the last Tuesday of each month.

What to expect:

• Clear signage throughout the venue, to help navigate independently

• Showroom Staff, trained on the ‘Dementia Friends’ initiative, on hand to aid and assist

• Prompt start times with no ads or trailers.

• Reduced capacity to avoid crowding.

• Lowered film volume.

• Unallocated seating so audiences can move in and out freely.

• Relaxed attitude to making noise during screenings.

• Dimmed lighting throughout the film.

Screenings are open to all members of the public.

We also accept the Access Card and CEA Card. All card holders receive a free ticket for an accompanying guest.

Visitors with a ticket to our Dementia-Friendly screenings can also enjoy 10% discount in our Café Bar on the day of the film.
