Eight kids go on the ultimate school excursion: a road trip across Europe to lobby powerful leaders to take action on our greatest ecological challenges.
Millions of children around the world are frustrated by the dire lack of meaningful action to protect the planet and their futures from the disastrous impacts of climate change, pollution and the biodiversity crisis. Until now, their only real avenue to express their concerns has been protesting on the streets. But in director Damon Gameau’s (2040, That Sugar Film) new documentary, a group of children head on an adventure across Europe in a school bus powered by biofuel.
Their mission? To better understand our predicament, explore solutions and, most importantly, take the conversation into the boardrooms of some of the world’s largest polluters and influential companies and challenge them to act.
