Presents: Mare's Nest

PG

A turtle is almost run over when a car crashes into a tree. The driver is a child called Moon. Unbothered by the accident, Moon embarks on a quest, crossing paths with other children, and even a minotaur, constantly questioning the world around around them. Based on Don DeLillo’s ‘The Word for Snow’ and shot on 16mm – in both black and white and colour – Mare’s Nest is a mysterious, poetic and thought-provoking film.
