Despite their disabilities and additional needs, four adults from Sheffield charity Work Ltd embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime cultural exchange trip to Kobe, Japan.
The students and staff who supported them on their epic journey gained a unique insight into how Japan deals with disability, whilst embracing the differences in Japanese and British cultures.
Overcoming their individual and unique challenges, the impact of the trip has allowed students to gain a new understanding of who they are and what they are truly capable of, whilst inspiring others like them to dream of what is possible for themselves.
