Beneath the streets of Paris, deep in the bowels of the Métro system, lives a literal underworld of crooks, thieves and petty criminals, as fugitive burglar Fred (Christophe Lambert) discovers. This pacy comic-book adventure was among the most successful products of the youthful movement known as ‘Cinéma du Look’. Director Luc Besson went on to make Nikita, Léon and The Fifth Element.
