PLAY: Graphic Novel Reading Room Pop-Up

Graphic Novel Reading Room is a first-of-its-kind social event where people can read a wide range of graphic novels in the company of others, primarily taking place at Treehouse Board Game Cafe in Sheffield City Centre. The club was launched 5 years ago right here at Showroom Cinema.

Graphic Novel Reading Room is here to provide you with an ever-expanding collection of comic books and zines to read in a peaceful environment in the company of others; the selection at the PLAY pop-up has been curated for families, children, and teenagers, whether you're new to comics or a die hard fan.

It's a casual event: all participants can read their own choice of comics and there is no group discussion at any point. You're welcome to arrive and leave at your leisure; the event runs from 3pm to 5:30pm.

Feeling inspired? A drawing table will also be provided for budding artists!

This reading session will be followed by a screening Scott Pilgrim vs The World (based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's acclaimed comic series) at 5:30pm.
