Do you feel anxious running in the dark? You're not alone. Join Dr Keri Wallace from Girls on Hills to explore the science behind fear of the dark and discuss strategies for safe and confident night running.
Sheffield Adventure Film Festival has a well earned reputation for being a friendly festival, welcoming everyone whether you're an outdoors enthusiast or an armchair adventurer who just loves a good story.
Keri Wallace is Founder of Girls on Hills trail running and author of the guidebook Running Challenges. She is also a qualified mountain leader and has a PhD in neurobiology. In 2024, Keri ran the West Highland Way a solo unsupported in winter, running through 17h of darkness and setting an FKT in the process.
