Playing as part of Showroom’s Too Much: Melodrama on Film season, Lorde’s ‘Melodrama’ is the first half of our ‘In the Mood for Yearning’ event – a double-bill with Wong Kar Wai’s In the Mood for Love. Tickets sold separately.

A collaboration between Pitchblack Playback and Showroom Cinema, this unique experience sets the tone for an evening of yearning with an in-cinema album listening party.

Lorde’s cult album ‘Melodrama’ will act as a gateway to the world of Melodrama on Film. Donning your provided eye mask, you’ll experience ‘Melodrama’ in complete darkness, enabling you to truly feel the music.

Once the scene is set, and tears have been dried, grab a ticket and return to your seat for a screening of Wong Kar Wai’s In the Mood for Love, a masterpiece of the yearning genre.
