Austen on Screen

To celebrate 250 years since the birth of one of the worlds most influential authors, Showroom Cinema presents Austen on Screen. A collection of the finest Jane Austen adaptations alongside films deeply inspired by her work.

For the Colin Firth fans, we offer the incredibly unique experience to experience the 1995 BBC Pride & Prejudice in it's entirety at a marathon screening on Sun 29 Jun. This isn't the only Pride & Prejudice treat we have in store, as the 2005 film starring Kiera Knightley will also be screening as part of our Showroom Spotlight strand.

Other great titles forming part of the season will be new release rom-com Jane Austen Wrecked My Life, classic teen comedy Clueless, and Whit Stillman's Austen-inspired Metropolitan screened on 35mm, followed by an in-person Q&A with the director himself.
