Following their unforgettable performance alongside The Blues Brothers and Dirty Dancing, Sheffield funk and soul music legends Highway Child return to Showroom Cinema to present Irish soul music classic, The Commitments. Directed by Oscar-nominee Alan Parker, The Commitments follows young and ambitious music fanatic, Jimmy Rabbitte, a working-class kid with big dreams of breaking into the music industry. Jimmy decides to start on the path to greatness with a seemingly impossible task: bringing soul music to working-class Dublin.

With an unforgettable soundtrack of soul classics including Mustang Sally, Take Me to the River, Chain of Fools, Try a Little Tenderness and In the Midnight Hour, The Commitments is one of the greatest musical films and this will be a night of soul music not to be missed.
