The evening screening only will be followed by an in-person Q&A with writer and producer James Daly and a panel of special guests.
Sheffield Film Festival is proud to present a very special anniversary presentation of Sheffield classic When Saturday Comes to celebrate thirty years since its production.
Jimmy (Sean Bean) aspires to be a pro soccer player, but as a heavy drinker with a go-nowhere job in a local brewery, his dream of making the team for Sheffield United seems an unlikely one. However, after starting a relationship with the pretty Annie (Emily Lloyd) and catching the eye of recruiter Ken (Pete Postlethwaite) during an amateur game, the future is suddenly looking brighter for Jimmy. Unfortunately, to make it into the big leagues, he'll first have to win his bout with the bottle.
