Inspired by Showroom’s KaiJuly Raids Again! season, this month at Family Time we are celebrating all creatures great and… huge! We couldn’t end the month without the friendliest of Japanese giants – My Neighbour Totoro.

While their mother recovers from an illness, Satsuki and her little sister Mei get away from it all in an idyllic rural retreat. Far from the bustle of the city, they discover a mysterious place of spirits, magic and woodland creatures. An elegy to two ever-fading miracles: the fairy-tale world of childhood and the disappearing countryside.  

From the legendary Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away, The Boy and the Heron), the beloved animated tale makes its return to the big screen. Hop aboard the Cat Bus this summer and enter the captivating and magical world of Totoro. 

My Neighbour Totoro is rated U, though in contains mild threat. For fans of Spirited Away, Turning Red, and Wolfwalkers.
